Practical property safety

A reviewed listing is a useful signal, but every property seeker should still complete independent checks.

Before a viewing

Confirm the exact address and who you are meeting. Share the viewing details with someone you trust, and prefer daytime visits.

Before paying

Do not send an advance payment because of urgency or pressure. Verify the person’s identity, authority, property documents, fees and written terms.

Warning signs

Be cautious of prices far below the market, copied photos, refusal to meet, requests to move all communication off-platform, and payment to unrelated accounts.

Report concerns

Use the contact page to report suspicious or inaccurate listings. Include the listing URL and a concise explanation.
